Should you accept the job?

When you are finally offered your first paying illustration job, slow down, take a breath. It can be tempting to say yes to any paid work that comes your way, and while I definitely think you should take all the opportunities you can, you have to consider the first impression you make with this client. If you can’t do the job to the best of your ability, for whatever reason, you might risk burning a bridge with this client.
